Modern Policing. Born out of Slavery

America Must Know her Sins!

The root we have reference to is the institution of American slavery, a system in which Afrodescendants in this country have recieved some of the worse treatment ever known to man. There is simply no other way to call it. To cause a man to break his arm is an accident. However, to force remove a man, woman, or people of their cutural ties, is an intentional act to reduce him or her to a living hell. What kind of a mind can do that to a people and not feel anything?

Our experiences in America has been a living hell. Slave catching, is a by product of our slavery experience and can not be denied. And we can not remove the fact that modern day policing grew out of the experiences of plantation slavery in the formulation of slave patrols, preventing escapees or those yearning to be free.

This slave catching unit, hired by powerful white plantation owners, who when called upon would grab guns, tracking dogs, mount horses, and a with few turncoat negroes in tow, track down Afrodescendant slaves fleeing from tyranny and oppression. Doing that time and in many places throughout America, caucasian citizens in a particular location were marshalled together, to track down and catch runaway slaves, apprehending them for severe punishment. The whole town in some cases.

Today we see this attitude presently in this day and time, where white bigoted male and female “karen’s,” who at every turn take it upon themselves to call the police, for behavior they don’t like in Afrodescendant people. There have been thousands of Afrodescendant men, woman, and children killed and murdered, and many cities and towns destroyed, because of a lie told by a racist hate-filled white man or woman.

Has anything changed?

No! At one time where there were many sprawling plantations throughout this country housing hundreds of slaves. Today, the whole of america have become ‘the plantation’ for Afrodescendant people in America. We are still in slavery in a different way and more broader in scope.

Where, in the past plantation owners would pay for slave patrols to track down fleeing slaves to protect their economic interests. Today, paid police enforcement units are called in to quail discontented backed by big corporations, businesses, local, city and state  governments working together.

They collectivley fleece our pockets of our hard earned monies, deducting higher taxes from the wages of Afrodescendants, hitting us with excessively high court costs for the smallest infractions. And even pricing our food at a higher cost in some cases. In all of this we become financiers of our own oppression, harassed and threatened everyday by caucasian race police. This is America, home of our captivity!

It doesn’t make sense for us to stay in such a lopsided relationship. Trigger happy race police are confortable snuffing out the lives of unarmed Afrodescendant men, woman, and childred, for something as small as a 4 year old picking up a doll in a store, or a young teen taking a slice of pizza. On an instance any of us could be wounded, maimed, killed, or murdered in broad daylight. It must stop!

We must break this unjust relationship with a country that seems to find every way to not find justice for Afrodescendant people, or seem to do us any good. We must consider the course of building our own society as other people and have done. We should’nt think any differently and our unity of purpose can very will bring a much needed solution to this age old problem.
